Chelchele Natural is a single-origin Natural from the Chelchele Washing Station in Kochere, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Grown at 1,900–2,400 m and listed as Heirloom varietals, the cherries are dried whole on raised beds. Tasting notes include lychee, dried strawberry, stone fruit and white-flower aromatics with a syrupy, creamy mouthfeel and pronounced fruit sweetness suitable for filter brewing.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
