This coffee is from Café Granja La Esperanza's Cerro Azul farm, located in Trujillo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,000 meters above sea level. It is a Competition Selection lot featuring a Geisha Hybrid variety, processed using the washed method. Cerro Azul spans 17.4 hectares across 7 lots, with 33,879 trees grown in conditions of 15–21°C and 85–90% humidity. Granja La Esperanza is renowned for pioneering Geisha cultivation in Colombia after winning Best Coffee of Panama in 2008.
