This coffee is a washed Bourbon variety from the female-led Nova Washing Station in the Gicumbi region of Rwanda, grown at 1450m altitude on volcanic soils. It features flavor notes of melon, milk chocolate, and vanilla. Available in whole bean and ground options, it is processed using a washed method and primarily intended for espresso brewing.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
