This coffee is from the Kayanza Province in Burundi, produced by the Incuti group. It undergoes fully washed processing with cherry floated for density, depulped, fermented, and sorted by density in concrete washing channels. Drying begins under shade then continues in open air with parchment piled into pyramids, flattened and reshaped daily for slow, even drying. The profile is juicy and lime-like, expressing the characteristics of high-elevation Kayanza. The coffee is part of JNP Coffee's "Dushime" program which provides quality consulting, lot selection, and end-of-year premiums to producer groups.
