This Ethiopian coffee is produced by Basha Bekele from the Sidama region at approximately 2,300 meters altitude. The farms are located above the Bombe and Murago areas in a semi-forested environment. It features variety 74158 and is processed using an experimental natural method with anaerobic fermentation, where whole cherries are submerged in cool running water for up to seven days before slow drying on raised mesh beds. The coffee won the Ethiopia Cup of Excellence 2024 with a score of 90.50 points. The flavor profile includes tropical notes of mango and pineapple, honeyed depth, tea-like elegance, wine-citrus acidity, and hints of bergamot and Darjeeling black tea.
