About This Coffee

This honey-processed Caturron varietal coffee is produced at Finca Villa Betulia in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia at 1550 meters altitude. The producer is Yeisson Calderon, who manages the estate alongside his father Luis Anibal Calderon. Caturron is a rare, recently discovered wild mutation of the Caturra variety with strong resistance to leaf rust and high yield. The flavor profile features dried fig, cranberry, and chamomile, along with notes of pineapple, raspberry, strawberry, watermelon, hibiscus, tart, and sangria. Harvest time is March through June.
