Pair Cupworks

About This Coffee

This natural-processed coffee originates from the Chelchele district in Yirgacheffe, SNNPR, Ethiopia, grown at altitudes between 1900-2200 meters above sea level. Produced by smallholders and plantation farms using organic practices, the coffee is processed at the Chelchele Washing Station by Azeb Tadesse coffee supplier. The varieties include Kurmue, Dago, and Wolisho. Coffee cherries are hand-sorted for ripeness and sun-dried on raised beds for 12-15 days until reaching 10-12% moisture content. The coffee features tropical, hibiscus, and black tea flavor notes.
