About This Coffee

This coffee is a Pacamara variety from the La Valeria farm in the Montecillo region of Intibuca, Honduras. Grown at an altitude of 1700 meters, this natural processed coffee undergoes a low oxygen fermentation for 48 hours before being dried on raised beds for 35 days. The flavor profile features rich notes of vanilla, dark cocoa, and funky characteristics. It is a light roast coffee with a juicy body.

The Artery Community Roasters

The Artery Community Roasters is a social enterprise based in Ottawa, Ontario, employing people living with disabilities at living wages. They roast in small batches on a Coffee Crafters Artisan XL with a capacity of up to 10 pounds per roast, and ship within one week of roasting. Sourcing is done on a direct trade basis, maintaining one to two degrees of separation from the farmers. The Artery was named Coffee Roaster of the Month by Commonly Coffee.
