This coffee is sourced from Finca El Eucalipto, produced by Richard Cotrina in San Felipe, Jaen, Cajamarca, Peru. It is grown at 2,250 meters above sea level with Caturra, Pache, and Typica varieties. The coffee is washed processed, with ripe cherries floated for selection, then depulped, fermented for 24 hours, and dried on raised African beds under a solar tent for 15-18 days. This fairtrade and organic certified lot comes from 34 producers working with Aromas de Valle cooperative. The coffee features flavor notes of apple, biscuit, and hazelnut with a medium roast level.
