This is a natural processed Geisha coffee from Carmen Estate in Panama, specifically Lot 9 from the Palomar section. Carmen Estate has been producing high-quality Arabica coffee for over 50 years and produces 1,200 bags annually of high-altitude specialty coffee. In 2023, Carmen Estate won Best of Panama in the Washed Category with a record-breaking price. The coffee cherries are manually harvested by the Nôbe-Buglé indigenous people who are trained to select only bright red, fully ripe cherries. The estate follows ecological agricultural practices focusing on insect management, soil conservation, water resource protection, and ecosystem conservation.
