This is a Geisha variety coffee from Carmen Estate in Panama, processed using the washed method. Carmen Estate is a single estate and mill producing 1,200 bags of high-altitude Arabica coffee annually. The cherries are manually harvested by the Nôbe-Buglé indigenous people, carefully selecting only fully ripe, bright red cherries. In 2023, Carmen Estate won Best of Panama in the Washed Category with a record-breaking price of $10,500/kg. The estate has been producing and exporting high-quality Arabica coffee for over 50 years, currently overseen by Jean Paul Jangenstein Wachter.
