A single-origin coffee from Koraput, Odisha, India, grown at 1100 meters altitude on tribal farm lands. The varieties are Chandragiri and SLN 9, processed as fermented sun-dried naturals. Light roasted (dropped at 202°C with early first crack, under 8.30 minutes), it features bright acidity with a medium-heavy body. Dry aroma presents orange zest, berries, and chocolate; wet aroma offers berry jam, orange, and betel leaf. Sensory profile delivers pomegranate and maple syrup with a clear plum finish. Suitable for all brew methods, ideal as pourover, Aeropress, and French press.
Grey Soul Coffee Roasters built its identity around pour over brewing, operating cafes in Bandra West in Mumbai and Koregaon Park in Pune with a live roasting experience center. The sourcing draws on Indian specialty arabica from Karnataka, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Odisha, processed as fermented naturals, fruit naturals, and washed lots depending on the origin. The cafes serve exclusively without additives or syrups, and the slow bar format reinforces the focus on the coffee itself. An all vegetarian menu with vegan and gluten free options and handmade stoneware accessories round out a deliberately considered offering.
