Oaxaca Chelín Enrique Lopez Gesha Hidronatural Lavado

Oaxaca Chelín Enrique Lopez Gesha Hidronatural Lavado

Almanegra Café

About This Coffee

A Gesha variety grown at Finca Chelín, Pante Neblina, in Candelaria Loxicha, Oaxaca, Mexico, at approximately 2,100 meters above sea level by producer Enrique López Aguilar. Processed using a unique Hidronatural Lavado method: cherries rest overnight, are then sun-dried for two days, moved to a greenhouse on day three, and on day four are rehydrated in a wet module before being finished as a washed coffee. The cup profile is highly aromatic and floral, with notes of jasmine, blackberry, mango, papaya, peach, and guava, with complex distinctions of bergamot and orange peel.
