Nkara is a washed single-origin coffee from the Northern Province of Rwanda, produced by the Dukunde Kawa cooperative representing 115 small-scale farmers. The coffee features the Red Bourbon variety and is roasted by Espresso Roast. The cooperative has maintained a relationship with the roaster since 2008.
Born in Melbourne in 2009, Market Lane Coffee was co-founded by Fleur Studd and Jason Scheltus to address the lack of fresh, traceable, high-quality coffee in Australia at the time.Their first shop was in Prahran Market, chosen to connect with a community that values quality, seasonality, and provenance. They are committed to quality, transparency, and sustainability, building lasting relationships with farmers and roasting meticulously on a 45kg Probat to highlight the exquisite characteristics of each lot.
