This natural processed coffee is from A Lel Chaung Village in Myanmar's Shan State, part of the Shwe Taung Thu Coffee group. The village has 160 households participating in the A Lel Chaung Specialty Coffee Production Group, established through a 2017 USAID project. The community invested in educational opportunities and new technologies including drying tables and moisture meters to produce specialty coffee. The coffee offers a sweet profile with fruity notes, balanced with nut and earthy characteristics. Ten percent of profits are earmarked for village healthcare, infrastructure, and education improvements.
