This coffee is sourced from the Gatugi washing station in the Nyeri region of Kenya, situated at an altitude of 1850 meters. It is a blend of SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties, processed using the washed method. The coffee is grown in rich, red volcanic soil on the slopes between Aberdare and Mount Kenya. It features a fruity and juicy profile with distinct tasting notes of blackcurrant, caramel, and sweet spices, offering a classic Kenyan flavor profile.
