Owned by David Velasquez Gomez, the farm is recognized as one of the most progressive, high-quality coffee mills in El Salvador. The plantation is located at altitudes exceeding 1750 meters. The coffee is the SL-28 variety, a Kenyan variety derived from a selection made by Scott Labs from a line of Tanganyika Drought Resistant trees with possible lineage to coffees from Yemen. It is processed using honey method with carbonic maceration. The flavor profile features fresh red grape, cooked citrus, and clove with a clean sugary sweetness.
