About This Coffee

It features a medium-light roast profile with distinct tasting notes of jasmine, white grape, and chocolate. The coffee is composed of Ethiopia Heirloom varieties and is dried on raised African beds. Denim Coffee

Matt and Kristin Ramsay founded Denim Coffee in 2011, starting with a small studio space in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and selling at local farmers markets. Tony Diehl joined as co owner in 2016 as the operation expanded. The roastery is now headquartered in a 30,000 square foot facility on Siloam Road in Chambersburg, housed in a former ice factory and fallout shelter, where a 60 kilo IMF roaster installed in the fall of 2023 handles production. Seven coffee shop locations span Central Pennsylvania, from Carlisle and Mechanicsburg to Harrisburg and Lancaster. Denim won the inaugural Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry Small Business of the Year award and achieved 45 percent growth despite rising commodity costs.
