Emozia Coffee Manifesto

Emozia Coffee Manifesto operates as a specialty coffee shop in Bucharest's historic old town on Strada Franceza near Piata Unirii, with a second location called Emozia Fain si Simplu in the university city of Cluj Napoca on Strada Constantin Brancusi, making it one of the few Romanian specialty brands with a presence in both of the country's two most important coffee cities. The Bucharest location opens daily from seven in the morning until seven in the evening and features outdoor seating in a courtyard setting, and has been described by visitors as one of the few specialty coffee shops in the center of the old town, a position that draws both locals and tourists exploring the area around the Palace of Parliament. Emozia sources its beans from Sumo Coffee Roasters, a Dublin based roastery founded by Romanian emigre and World Cup Tasters Champion Daniel Horbat, a connection that links the Bucharest cafe to one of the most accomplished Romanian born coffee professionals working anywhere in the world. The baristas are celebrated for their expertise and passion, with one reviewer noting that the staff is evangelical about coffee and it shows, and the cafe famously does not provide sugar, promoting a focus on experiencing the pure taste of each specialty coffee without sweetening. Emozia has earned a 4.7 out of 5 Google rating and appears on European Coffee Trip's curated Bucharest guide, establishing itself as a cornerstone of Romania's growing specialty scene.
