This limited edition Costa Rican coffee from La Chumeca has undergone an anaerobic fermentation process where beans were stored in an oxygen-free tank with added yeast extract, allowing them to absorb more sugars and compounds from their cherries. The processing creates a fruit-forward profile with red fruit and floral flavor notes. Despite the experimental fermentation, the coffee maintains a well-rounded and well-balanced character, making it suitable for any filter brewing method.
