This coffee is produced by ASMUCAFE (Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe), a women's cooperative in El Tambo, Cauca, Colombia. It is a washed processed coffee with a balanced profile featuring notes of forest fruits, almond, and caramel. The coffee is smooth, gently sweet, and well-structured with a clean, comforting finish. The cooperative focuses on improving quality through their own roasting and sensory evaluation lab, working together to support their families and community.
Dear Green Coffee Roasters was founded in 2011 in Glasgow, Scotland, by Lisa Lawson after a formative period working at Toby's Estate in Australia. The company is named after Glasgow's historic Gaelic nickname, "the dear green place," and sources exclusively specialty grade coffee through trusted importers and direct producer relationships, with Lawson personally visiting farms to verify ethical practices. Dear Green employs in house Q Graders to maintain strict quality control, only releasing coffees that meet its sensory standards. The roastery holds Certified B Corp status and prioritizes traceability, organic certification where possible, and sourcing from women producers.
