This coffee offers a smooth, layered experience with bright acidity from Colombia, body and depth from Rwanda, and delicate florals from Ethiopia. It features flavor notes of black forest cake and dark chocolate. This blend is specifically recommended for espresso, particularly when prepared with milk.
Terence Tan, Singapore's National Barista Champion in 2017, founded Tad Coffee Company in 2018 alongside a group of friends with a combined 30 years of experience across roasting, barista training, and operations. The roastery holds Halal certification and sources from Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Sumatra, with the team providing SCA and ASEAN Coffee Federation certified training programs. Tad's blends earned consecutive Bronze awards at the Australian International Coffee Awards in 2019 and 2020, and their Ethiopia Moyo Nyekundu G1 took Bronze in the Pour Over Single Origin category in 2022. Tan went on to win the Singapore Cup Tasters Championship in 2023.
